Senior Karli Mukai hit the game-winning three-pointer in OT at the buzzer on Saturday night against Whitworth in Spokane. The Pioneers inbounded the ball with six seconds left in the overtime period, down by two points. Mukai received a pass from Jamison Richards and shot the ball from the top, finding the bottom of the net as time expired for the win. Mukai finished with a season-high 18 points, going 3-6 from long range, 3-3 from the free throw line and 6-17 from the floor. She led the team with three assists. Mukai had 25 points in two games against the Whits on the road.
