Freshman Lauryn Frederickson has earned a starting role early this season, pulled down a career-best 12 rebounds, and recorded her first collegiate block on Saturday against Walla Walla while playing a tough defensive match up with the Wolves’ leading scorer Chariah Daniels. She started a 9-2 Lewis & Clark run early in the game with a three-pointer less than a minute into the first quarter. Frederickson earned her career block on Daniels halfway through the third quarter. Before the third stanza expired, Frederickson stripped the ball from Walla Walla and took it in for a layup to pull the Pioneers within 51-44. She led the team in rebounds, was second with 36 minutes of play, and finished with five points on Saturday.
