Jordan Lahusky earned his first Northwest Conference Track Student-Athlete of the Week (SAOW) since his first season, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.Ā

Lashusky collected his third NWC Track SAOW award, and first since he won in back-to-back weeks to close out the 2022-23 season. He also won the NWC Football Offensive SAOW award on November 18, 2024.Ā

The senior earned the award after winning the 400M and leading the 4x100M Relay team to victory on Saturday at the L&C Electric Forest Open Meet.Ā

Lahusky finished first out of 10 runners in the 400M. He posted a season-best time of 49.44 to finish 2.61 seconds ahead of the second-place runner from Clark College (Wash.). His time is tied for the second-fastest by an NWC runner this season and the 35
th-fastest in NCAA DIII this year.Ā

Jon Fritz, sophomore
Jaden Mwendapole and first year
Zane Bryant to win the 4x100M Relay. The River Otters quartet combined for a time of 42.37 to finish first out of four teams. Their time moved them into second in the conference and 21
stĀ in NCAA DIII this season. They also moved into fourth in program history and their time marked the fastest time by a Lewis & Clark relay team since 2018.Ā Ā

Track & field will return to action on Saturday, when they travel to the University of Puget Sound for the Peyton Shotwell Invitational.Ā
