(Lewis & Clark 2-4-2, Northwest Conference 2-3)
(Linfield 3-3-1, NWC 1-2)

HOW IT HAPPENED

Fia Swanson and Lize Rendon each scored their first goals of the season, to lead the Wildcats to a conference victory.

Lewis & Clark first year goalie Lucia Barrón Núñez recorded four saves on six shots. Barrón Núñez notched three of her four saves in the first half to keep the game scoreless.

Senior Grace Smith led the Lewis & Clark offense. Smith posted a team-high two shots and their lone shot on target. She finished the game as one of four Lewis & Clark players to play the full 90 minutes.

Senior Rowan Levandoski, junior Maggie Faye, sophomore Riley Yip and first year Olivia Melanson all added one shot apiece.

Swanson opened the scoring in the 60th minute. The Wildcats sent a corner kick to the center of the box that was headed on to the back post. Swanson's initial shot hit the crossbar and deflected off several Lewis & Clark players who were trying to clear the ball out of the goalmouth. The ball eventually came back to Swanson who sent a low shot into the back of the net from inside the six-yard box.

The hosts doubled their lead with 5:44 to play. Lewis & Clark lost possession of the ball in their own goal box and Rendon calmly slotted it home with her left foot for a 2-0 lead.
