HILLSBORO, Ore.—Lewis & Clark College Athletics matched their highest finish in the Northwest Conference All-Sports Trophy Standings since moving to the NCAA DIII level, the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon.Â

The River Otters placed sixth out of nine schools in the All-Sports Trophy and posted their most points (174) since the school moved to NCAA DIII in 1997. Lewis & Clark notched their highest-finish since placing sixth in back-to-back years in 2002 and 2003. The River Otters racked up 174 points – which eclipsed the previous record, set in 2025, by 10 points.Â

Lewis & Clark racked up 174 points to edge Willamette University (166), Pacific Lutheran University (159) and Pacific University (152). Whitworth University (271) earned their third-straight All-Sports Trophy Title after edging George Fox University (213) by 58 points. The University of Puget Sound (193), Linfield University (190) and Whitman College (184) placed third through fifth.Â

Lewis & Clark moved from ninth place after the Winter Season to sixth place - thanks to a huge Spring Season. Seven of Lewis & Clark's nine NWC sponsored Spring teams finished in the top-four during the Spring season to help Lewis & Clark rack up 107 of their 174 points and finish third out of of nine schools during the Spring Season. Overall, nine River Otters teams finished in the top-four of the NWC Standings.Â

Women's Golf, men's tennis, women's tennis, women's lacrosse, softball and baseball all placed third in the NWC Standings. Men's cross country, men's basketball and men's track & field each finished in fourth place in the conference standings. Football (fifth), women's cross country (sixth), men's swimming (sixth) and men's golf (sixth) all finished in the middle of the pack in the NWC.Â
