PORTLAND, Ore. – Lewis & Clark College placed 19 student-athletes on the 2024-25 Northwest Conference All-Sportsmanship Team, the conference office announced Wednesday afternoon.
The River Otters were represented by one student-athlete from each of their 19 NWC-sponsored teams. Honorees were selected by a combination of coaches and peers for exemplifying outstanding sportsmanship throughout the year.
Four River Otters were repeat selections: sophomore
Mack Searle (women's lacrosse), senior
Elise Barton (women's swimming), senior
Wade McDermott (men's tennis) and junior
Charlotte Makoni (women's tennis). Searle, Barton and Makoni earned spots on the 2024-25 All-Sportsmanship Team, while McDermott was previously honored in 2022-23.
