PORTLAND, Ore.—Lewis & Clark College women's track & field honored the program's 18 seniors and posted three top-three finishes at the L&C Larry Byerly Invitational.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Lewis & Clark hosted their second and final regular-season meet of the season over the weekend at the David and Eldon Fix Track. The River Otters welcomed over 1,000 athletes to the two-day meet with schools from NCAA DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, Junior College and club and masters teams represented.
At the conclusion of Saturday's competition, Lewis & Clark honored their 18 seniors/athletes competing in their final season of track & field:

Women's track & field posted four top-50 marks in program history, as they competed in their final tune-up before the 2026 Northwest Conference Championship Meet.
The women's 4x400M Relay team put together one of the best performances for the River Otters of the weekend. The quartet of Chin, Reside, junior
Callow Soto and Heien combined for the fastest time in the NWC this season. They registered a season-best time of 3:58.38 to finish third out of 10 teams and first among NWC sides. Their time moved them up to third in program history and was almost 15 seconds faster than NWC side Pacific Lutheran University. The Lewis & Clark "B" Team of first year

Mackenzie Olver finished in eighth place with a time of 4:31.62.
Lewis & Clark added a top-10 finish in the 4x100M Relay as well. The quartet of Dinh, junior
Carolyn Mayberry, Soto and Figueroa placed fifth out of eight teams with a final time of 52.23.
Chin added her second top-three finish on Saturday in the 400M Hurdles. The senior crossed the line second out of 19 runners with a mark of 1:05.16. She placed first among NCAA competitors. Mayberry crossed the line in 1:10.55 to finish in 10
th place. Figueroa came in 14
th place with a time of 1:11.15.
Heien added a third-place showing in the 800M. The senior came across in 2:13.91 to finish third out of 69 runners. Her time was the top mark by an NCAA DIII runner by almost eight seconds on Saturday. Reside placed 16
th overall with a season-best time of 2:21.49. Sophomore
Maeva Conroy registered a PR time of 2:32.92 to finish 47
th. Scannell added a PR time of 2:38.97 to place 55
th and junior
Mackenzie Olver came in 60
th place with a time of 2:42.94.
Soto added the final top-10 finish for the River Otters on the track on Saturday. She registered a PR time of 26.52 in the 200M to finish first among D3 runners.
Junior
Divinity Singleton posted the top-finish amongst Lewis & Clark field athletes. Singleton finished fourth out of 30 throwers in the shot put. The junior launched the implement 11.78M (38-07.75). First year
Ky Roussin came in 12
th place with a throw of 10.71M (35-01.75 Feet). Fellow first year
Lillian Morlan posted a mark of 9.63M (31-07.25 Feet) to finish 21
st. Pile ended the event in 24
th place with a mark of 9.12M (29-11.25 Feet).
Dinh notched the final top-10 showing of the weekend for Lewis & Clark. She placed seventh out of 39 competitors in the long jump with a leap of 5.24M (17-02.25 Feet). Davis finished 32
nd overall with a mark of 4.48M (14-08.50 Feet).
Davis represented the River Otters in the triple jump. The senior placed 20
th in the triple jump with a leap of 9.89M (32-05.50 Feet).
Junior
Lillian Besa led Lewis & Clark in the discus and hammer throws. On Saturday, she launched the discus 35.48M (116-05 Feet) to finish 11
th out of 39 throwers. Sabado heaved the discus 33.96M (111-05 Feet) for a new PR. She placed 14
th overall in the event. Singleton registered a mark of 29.28M (96-00 Feet) to finish in 26
th place. Morlan registered a PR toss of 28.70M (94-02 Feet) to come in 28
th place. Roussin registered a heave of 27.40M (89-10 Feet) to place 32
nd.
Besa and Roussin represented Lewis & Clark in the hammer throw on Friday. Besa finished 12
th out of 29 throwers with a mark of 39.64M (130-00 Feet). Roussin took 19
th place with a mark of 35.37M (116-00 Feet).
Kerschner and first year
Tesla Curtis competed in the 3K Steeplechase on Saturday morning. Kerschner crossed the line in 12:57.99 to finish in 13
th place. Curtis came in just behind her in 14
th place – with a final time of 13:30.41.
Dinh was the lone Lewis & Clark competitor in the 100M Hurdles. Dinh placed 17
th out of 27 runners with a time of 17.54.
Lutz led four River Otters in the 1,500M. The senior won her heat and finished 50
th overall with a time of 5:15.55. Tomhave placed 53
rd overall with a PR time of 5:20.91. Olver (5:29.09 – PR) and Scannell (5:43.28) finished in 59
th and 61
st overall.
BY THE NUMBERS
- The 4x400M "A" team ranks first in the NWC this season and they are the only team to break the four-minute mark this year. Their time of 3:58.38 is the 66th-fastest time in NCAA DIII this season.
- Heien's season-best time in the 800M (2:13.91) was the 43rd-fastest time in DIII this season.
- Soto's time in the 200M (26.52) moved her up to 14th in program history.
- Sabado (14th) and Morlan (30th) each posted top-30 marks in program history in the discus.
WHAT'S NEXT
Lewis & Clark will travel to Spokane for the 2026 NWC Championship Meet on Saturday and Sunday. The meet will kick off on Saturday at 11 a.m. and there will be a live video feed (FloSports) and live results available for both days.
