Emil Miller were all recognized for a second-straight season. Senior

Liam Stanley each earned the award for the first time in their careers.Ā

The Academic All-District Teams recognize the top student-athletes for their performance on-and-off the field. To be eligible, students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and must be ranked in the top-50 in the region in at least one individual event across the three seasons (cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field). Schools could only nominate a maximum of six student-athletes on both the men's and women's teams.

Fritz is a senior Psychology major, with a minor in neuroscience and computer science, hailing from Newport, Oregon. The senior posted five top-50 marks in the West Region as part of a career year. During the Indoor Season, Fritz posted the 13
th-best long jump (6.53M/21-05.25 Feet) and 21
st-fastest 60M hurdles (8.80) in the region. He added the eighth-best mark in the region in the triple jump (13.99M/45-10.75 Feet), 34
th-fastest 110M hurdles (15.89) and 40
th-best long jump (6.61M/21-08.25 Feet) during the Outdoor Season. Fritz capped off his career with his second and third All-Conference honors and first All-Region award of his career. He placed third overall in the triple jump (13.68M) and fifth in the 110M Hurdles (15.98) at the Northwest Conference Championship Meet. He picked up his first career All-Region award after finishing eighth in the West in the triple jump. Fritz closes out his career with 11 top-10 marks in program history.Ā

Higgins is a Biology and Philosophy major hailing from Denver, Colorado. The junior put together the best season of his career to repeat as an Academic All-District honoree. Higgins just missed a spot on the All-Region Team in the Fall and posted two top-50 marks in the West Region in both the Indoor and Outdoor seasons. The junior notched the 14
th-fastest mile (4:22.85) and 28
th-fastest 800M (2:01.38) in the West Region during the Indoor Season. Higgins added the 15
th-fastest 5K (14:52.22) and 16
th-fastest 1,500M (3:55.00) during the Spring Season. He placed eighth in the 1,500M (3:59.11) at the NWC Championship Meet to earn NWC Second Team All-Conference honors.Ā

MarkelzĀ is a Biology and Environmental Studies major, with a minor in Earth Systems Science, hailing from Mountain View, California. After dealing with injuries in the Fall, Markelz posted five top-50 marks in the West Region and put together the best Outdoor season of his career. The junior notched a pair of All-Region honors during Indoor Track when he placed seventh in the West Region in the 3,000M (8:37.46) and eighth in the mile (4:17.47). Markelz tacked on three top-50 marks in the region in the Spring. He posted the 10
th-fastest 5,000M (14:43.64), 12
th-fastest 10,000M (31:38.06) and 30
th-fastest 1,500M (3:58.47). Markelz won his first career NWC Title, when he placed first overall in the 5,000M (14:52.85). He tacked on a third-place finish in the 10,000M (31:39.06) to close out the NWC Championship Meet with a pair of All-Conference honors.Ā

Miller is a Mathematics, Biology and Physics major, with a minor in Environmental Studies, hailing from Yakima, Washington. The junior put together the best academic year of his career as he put together career-best marks in Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor track. He notched five top-50 marks across the two track & field seasons. Miller posted the 31
st-fastest 3,000M (9:00.68) and 33
rd-fastest mile (4:30.42) during the Indoor Season. He tacked on the sixth-best 3,000M steeplechase (9:21.94), 27
th-fastest 5,000M (14:58.65) and 48
th-fastest 1,500M (4:01.50) during Outdoor Track. Miller claimed the first two All-Conference honors of his career at the NWC Championship Meet. He placed second overall in the 3,000M Steeplechase (9:21.94) and sixth in the 5,000M (15:10.70). Miller also earned his first career All-Region honors after finishing the Outdoor Season in sixth in the 3K steeplechase.

Naylor is a Mathematics major hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada. The senior earned his first career Academic All-District honors after posting a top-50 mark in the region during the Outdoor Season. Naylor notched the 44
th-fastest 3,000M steeplechase time in the West Region in the Spring. He recorded a career-best time of 10:17.38 at the Eldon and Chuck Throwdown on March 7. In his final career NWC Championship Meet, Naylor crossed the line in 18
thĀ place in the 3K steeplechase.Ā

Stanley is a Philosophy and Physics major hailing from Salem, Oregon. The junior thrower earned his first career Academic All-District award after registering a top-50 mark in the West during the Indoor Season. Stanley recorded the 38
th-best weight throw mark during the Winter Season. He launched the implement 10.99M (36-00.75 Feet) at the George Fox Indoor #1 Meet on February 7.Ā
