Sophomore Evelyn Burnett turned in a career-best performance for the Lewis & Clark College women's lacrosse team, scoring a career-high six goals in Saturday’s win at Pacific. Burnett, who notched her first collegiate double hat trick, was a perfect 6-for-6 on shots on goal and spread out her scoring evenly, netting two goals in each of the first two quarters and one in each of the final two. She followed up her standout showing with another strong outing in Sunday’s season finale at George Fox, tallying a goal and an assist while once again maintaining a perfect shooting percentage. Burnett capped both games by scoring the final goal in each contest.
