Westlake led the men’s golf team this weekend at the Northwest Conference Fall Classic in Salem. The freshman finished first on the team and tied for 30th in the tournament. He shot a team-low 80 on Saturday and tied for the team-low on Sunday with an 81. Westlake was one of six players in the tournament who carded an eagle and he helped the Pioneers tie Whitman College for the team-high with two. The Beaverton, Ore. native led the team in birdies with five and was one of three Lewis and Clark golfers to finish with 16 pars across 36 holes.
