Prior to Lewis & Clark: Attended United World College East Africa High School … played club for Arusha Rhinos and Club Nacional de Football (Uruguayan team) … played soccer, volleyball and ultimate frisbee in high school … captain of her soccer, volleyball and ultimate frisbee teams … received the Sportsmanship Award two consecutive years … member of the Sustainability Committee at UWC East Africa … leader in her residence … participated in volunteer work in Uruguay … father was a goalkeeper for the Artigas Department Representative Team and competed in the Uruguayan Football Association (AUF) league.
 
Why Lewis & Clark?: I chose Lewis & Clark because of its strong sense of community, emphasis on global engagement, and commitment to environmental sustainability. I was looking for a college where I could challenge myself academically while continuing to play collegiate soccer. I also appreciate the small class sizes, close relationships with professors, and the opportunity to learn from people with diverse backgrounds. I believe Lewis & Clark is the right place to grow both as a student and as a person.
