GREENWOOD, Ind. – Lewis & Clark College seniors
Susanna Anand and
Wade McDermott were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2025-26 Academic All-District Tennis Teams, the organization announced Tuesday morning.

Both seniors earned Academic All-District honors for the third straight year.

To qualify for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least sophomores academically and athletically, hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and compete in at least 70% of the team's total matches that include a team score.

Anand, a biochemistry and molecular biology major from Troutdale, Oregon, competed at No. 1 singles in all 16 dual matches. She finished 17-4 overall and 13-3 in dual play, including an 11-2 record in Northwest Conference matches. Anand led the team with 29 total wins across singles and doubles. At No. 1 doubles, she went 12-11 overall and 8-6 in NWC dual matches, partnering with junior
Charlotte Makoni for a 7-8 record and with junior
Emma Loucks for a 5-3 mark. Anand earned All-NWC First Team honors in both singles and doubles this season.

McDermott, a computer science and mathematics major with a data science minor from Santa Fe, New Mexico, totaled 22 wins in his senior season. He posted a 9-11 singles record, including 8-6 in Northwest Conference dual matches, with a 7-3 mark at No. 5 singles. In doubles, McDermott went 13-7 overall and 9-5 in NWC play, primarily teaming with
Arnav Bishnoi for an 11-4 record, including 8-2 in conference play, at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions.
