PORTLAND, Ore. – Lewis & Clark College men's tennis earned six selections on the 2026 All-Northwest Conference teams, the league office announced last week.
First-year Kaden Sigurdsson was named NWC Rookie of the Year and earned first-team singles and third-team doubles honors. Junior Noah Sutin was named to the second team in both singles and doubles, senior Kai Wills earned second-team doubles recognition, and senior Spencer Loucks was selected to the third team in doubles. The honors mark the fourth consecutive season Lewis & Clark has placed multiple players on the All-NWC teams.
Sigurdsson anchored the River Otters at the top of the lineup and finished 12-8 overall in singles, including 8-6 in dual matches and 7-6 in NWC play. The Livermore, California, native competed primarily at No. 1 singles and went 7-6 in dual matches at the position. He was ranked No. 17 in the West Region in the fall.
Sutin earned his third consecutive All-NWC second-team singles selection after posting a 14-11 overall record, including 10-10 in dual play and 10-4 in conference competition. The junior from San Antonio competed at the top two singles positions and recorded a 9-4 mark at No. 2.
In doubles, Sigurdsson and Loucks combined for a 12-4 overall record and an 11-3 mark in dual matches while splitting time between the No. 2 and No. 3 positions. The pair went 10-2 in NWC play and defeated the Whitman College team that won the NWC Fall ITA doubles championship.
Loucks, a senior from Vancouver, Washington, finished 14-11 overall in doubles, including 11-9 in dual play and 10-4 in conference matches. Sigurdsson posted a 12-9 overall doubles record with an 11-5 mark in dual competition and a 10-4 record in NWC play across three positions.
Sutin and Wills competed at No. 1 doubles throughout the season and finished 11-12 overall with a 7-6 record in conference play. The duo advanced to the ITA doubles championship match in the fall, becoming the first Lewis & Clark pair to reach the final since 2017. They were ranked No. 5 in the West Region during the fall season.
Sutin finished 12-15 overall in doubles and 7-7 in NWC competition. Wills, a senior from Benicia, California, posted an 11-16 overall record, including 7-12 in dual play and 7-7 in conference matches, primarily at No. 1. He earned his second career All-NWC selection after a second-team honor in 2024.
Lewis & Clark finished 9-11 overall and 9-5 in NWC play to earn the No. 3 seed in the NWC Tournament.
