PORTLAND, Ore.āLewis & Clark College men's and women's swimming are set to travel to Boise, Idaho for the 2026 Northwest Conference Championship Meet this weekend. This year's meet will be held at the Idaho Central Aquatic Center from Friday, February 13 to Sunday, February 15. The competitors will swim the Preliminaries each morning at 9:30 a.m. and the Finals at 5:00 p.m.Ā

There will be video and live results available for each session. Video can be found through FloSports and requires a monthly or annual subscription. Live results will be available on the Meet Mobile app. Spectators will need to register on the meet mobile site and pay a $10 monthly fee for access to the entire meet heat sheet and live results. Results will be posted to the Lewis & Clark Athletics website when they become available.

2025 NWC CHAMPIONSHIP RECAPĀ

Lewis & Clark enjoyed a terrific performance at the 2025 NWC Championship Meet. The men's team placed fifth overall and recorded their most points (370) at a conference championship meet since 1988 (367). They won four events and broke nine program records across the three days. The women's team finished in eighth place and scored 208 points. It was their most points scored since the 2020 season (220 points).Ā

Junior
Ezra Billings became the first Lewis & Clark student-athlete to win NWC Men's Swimmer of the Meet honors. Billings won the 50 Free (20.42), 100 Free (44.70) and 100 Fly (49.25). He was the first Lewis & Clark men's swimmer to win an individual conference title since 2006 (Justin Lawton, 100 Backstroke). The men's 400 Free Relay team added the program's first relay title since 1988, as Billings, sophomore
Sam LoCurto,
Micah Rysavy ('25) and
Zach Martin combined for a winning time of 3:03.88. Overall, the men's team won four titles, set nine program records and seven swimmers combined for 13 All-Conference honors. Junior
Elise Barton (3x) and sophomore
Angie Cummings (2x) each earned their first career All-Conference accolades and combined for five total All-Conference honors on the women's side.

Men's swimming is looking to follow up their standout performance a year ago with another strong showing this weekend. Lewis & Clark has the top-seed in two events and three relay teams that are ranked third in the Northwest Conference.Ā

Billings will once again enter the meet as one of the top swimmers on the men's side. The senior stands first overall in the 50 Free by 0.30 seconds. He swam a program-record 20.35 at the Winter Collegiate Swim Invite in November and that time was good enough for an NCAA "B" Cut. LoCurto (11
th) and Martin (14
th) also rank in the top-15 in the event. Billings is also the favorite in the 100 Free. The senior swam an NCAA "B" Cut time of 44.76 which is the fastest time in the conference by 1.45 seconds. Martin (ninth) and LoCurto (18
th) both sit inside the top-20 in the 100 Free.Ā

Billings owns the second-fastest time in the conference in the 100 Fly. Billings posted a mark of 49.88 in November and is just 0.42 seconds behind the top seed in the NWC. LoCurto is also ranked in the top-eight in the conference (seventh overall) and senior

Spicer and Martin each come in to the weekend ranked third in an event. Spicer leads a trio of swimmers in the top-20 of the 200 Fly. He is ranked third in the event with a time of 1:54.15. Sophomore

Lewis & Clark comes into the meet seeded third overall in the 200, 400 and 800 Free. The River Otters will look to outpace Whitworth University and the University of Puget Sound - who are seeded in the top-two of all three relays.

Aniqah Gaffoor, women's swimming owns seven top-six times in the conference this season. The River Otters have three top-three seeds and three of their five relay teams rank sixth in the NWC.Ā

Barton comes in as one of the favorites in the 100 Free. The senior recorded the second-fastest time in the conference in the event (54.47) at the Winter Collegiate Swim Invite. She also sits fifth in the 50 Free (24.81) and sixth in the 200 Free (1:59.54). Last season, she earned All-Conference accolades in all three events. Gaffoor sits 22

th) both rank inside the top-20 in the conference in the 200 Backstroke. Cummings also leads the team and sits third overall in the 100 Backstroke. She posted a time of 1:00.58 at the Winter Collegiate Swim Invite. Cummings will also compete in the 500 Free where she ranks sixth overall (5:22.21). Hurty ranks 23rd overall in the 500 Free.Ā

Gaffoor comes into the 100 Fly seeded sixth overall. The program-record holder in the event swam a 58.96 in November. She will also lead the team in the 200 Fly (2:23.28) where she sits 12
