Micah Rysavy ('25) returned to his alma mater as an assistant coach ahead of the 2025-26 season.
In his first season as a member of the staff, Rysavy worked with seven student-athletes who earned Northwest Conference All-Conference honors. The men's team combined to post 15 All-Conference honors and the 400 and 800 Free Relay Teams each finished second overall at the NWC Championship Meet in Boise. Senior Ezra Billings earned the team's lone individual title when he repeated as the NWC Champion in the 100 Free. On the women's side, senior Elise Barton earned her first career First Team All-Conference honors and three women's swimmers combined for five All-Conference awards.
Rysavy put together a fantastic career on Palatine Hill that concluded with his first career Northwest Conference Title as a senior. He teamed up with Ezra Billings, Zach Martin and Sam LoCurto to win the 400 Yard Free Relay (3:03.88). The quartet were the first Pioneers relay team to win a title at NWCs since 1988. He also added his first two career NWC First Team All-Conference honors as a senior. Rysavy placed second as an individual in the 100 Yard Butterfly (49.55) and the 200 Individual Medley (1:52.80).
Over the course of his career at Lewis & Clark, Rysavy earned All-Conference honors 12 times. He was named to the All-Conference Team for multiple events in all four seasons and posted five All-Conference performances as a senior. Rysavy owns two individual program records and is a member of the program-record setting relay team in all five relays. He sits first all-time in the 200 Freestyle (1:41.22) and the 200 IM (1:52.80). The Minneapolis, Minnesota native ranks in the top-10 in 10 individual events in program history.
