PORTLAND, Ore.—Lewis & Clark College men's swimming put together their most dominant performance in over a decade, as they won all 11 events in a 159-11 win over Pacific University on Friday night at the Zehntbauer Swimming Pavilion.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Pioneers won all 11 men's events for the second-straight year against Pacific and teamed up with the women's team to win both mixed relays.

With Pacific fielding just two men on their roster, the majority of the competition for event wins came between Lewis & Clark swimmers facing off against each other.
Billings, the reigning Northwest Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week, won two of the four events with the biggest fields. In the event with the biggest field of the night, Billings beat out five other swimmers in the 50 Fly. The junior touched the wall in 23.42 to take first place. First year
Sam LoCurto placed second in 24.69. Senior
Ian Holmberg (25.75) finished third and Frei took fifth place (26.44).
Billings tacked on a win in a five-man field in the 50 Free. He earned his third win in as many tries in the event this season when he finished in 21.91. Frei took third place with a mark of 24.77. Sophomore
Colin Ziegler (25.91) and Beatty (27.95) placed fourth and fifth.
Rysavy won the final individual event of the night over four other swimmers in the 100 IM. Rysavy beat everyone to the wall with a final time of 56.29. Spicer closed in 58.39 to finish in second place. Anderson (1:02.15) and Holmberg (1:02.58) raced to the wall with the pair placing third and fourth.
Rysavy added his second win in a head-to-head matchup with LoCurto. The pair traded the lead back-and-forth in the 200 Free with both swimmers posting big season-best times. In the end, Rysavy placed first when he touched the wall in 1:49.53. LoCurto came in just behind his senior teammate with a mark of 10:51.03.
Martin picked up a pair of wins of his own. The junior beat out four swimmers to win the 100 Free. Martin earned the victory when he touched the wall in 58.68. LoCurto was just behind him in second with a mark of 50.29. Ringel (53.91) and Beatty (1:02.31) placed third and fifth.
Martin added a victory in the 50 Breaststroke. He finished the race in 30.00 to place first out of four swimmers. Anderson took second in 30.78 and Ziegler placed third with a final time of 31.93.
Ringel earned the first win of the night for Lewis & Clark in the 1,000 Free. He swam unopposed and closed in 10:51.03.
Beatty earned his victory in the 50 Backstroke. The sophomore swam solo and finished in 34.30.
Spicer added a win in the 200 Fly. The junior finished ahead of two teammates with a final time of 2:02.42. Billings took second in 2:09.14 and Rysavy placed third with a final mark of 2:15.88.
Frei earned a win in the 200 Backstroke. The first year swam head-to-head with Holmberg. Frei closed the race in 2:09.96 to take first place. Holmberg registered a time of 2:13.52.
Anderson notched a win in the 200 Breaststroke over two other Pioneers. He touched the wall in 2:19.24 to finish first. Spicer (2:29.96) and Ziegler (2:37.60) finished second and third.
Lewis & Clark opened the night with a win in the Mixed 400 Yard Medley Relay. The quartet of
AJ Schroeder,
Dahlia Linkow, Martin and Holmberg finished in 4:09.55 to defeat Pacific's team by 2.02 seconds. They trailed by 13 seconds at the 200 Yard, before storming back.
In the final event of the night, Lewis & Clark earned a win in the Mixed 400 Free. Ringel,
Sophie Justus,
Elise Barton and LoCurto earned a dominant victory by 12.34 seconds. After trailing by nearly four seconds at the midway point, Lewis & Clark closed in 3:43.02
BY THE NUMBERS
- Lewis & Clark posted their most points in a meet in over a decade. The Pioneers went over 150 points in a dual meet for the first time since 2021 when they defeated Willamette 153-59.
- Beatty and Frei each earned their first collegiate victories.
- The Pioneers have now won 10-consecutive dual meets against Pacific.

Lewis & Clark will travel to Newberg, Oregon on Friday to take on George Fox University (host) and the University of Puget Sound for a rare NWC tri-meet
