Senior Andrew Baum posted personal records in two events across a pair of meets last week. At Friday's PNW Invite, Baum threw the hammer 45.73 meters (150-00.00 feet) on his final attempt to finish 11th out of 32 throwers and move into 12th all-time in program history. On Saturday at the L&C Electric Forest Open Meet, Baum placed third in the shot put with a PR mark of 14.72 meters (48-03.50 feet) and added an eighth-place finish in the discus at 38.33 meters (125-09 feet). His shot put mark moved him into 10th in school history, the first thrower to crack the top 10 in the event since 2000.
