Senior Frankie Reid ran his fastest 8K time in over two years, earning him a Top-20 finish and helping the Pioneers men’s team set new program records for top-five and top-seven grouping at Saturday’s George Oja Linfield Invitational. Reid ran a near PR time of 24:49.5, hitting sub-25 for the second time in his career to finish 19th among all runners and 3rd among NWC harriers.  Reid’s performance significantly boosts the team heading into the NWC Championship Meet on October 28. The Pioneers top five men averaged a time of 25:06 on Saturday, breaking a record set at last year's NWC Championship. .
