Lewis & Clark College

Carla McHattie was named the full-time assistant track & field coach in 2013. Prior to the promotion, McHattie was a volunteer coach for the cross country (2007-present) and track teams (2011-13).

Prior to volunteering for L&C, McHattie worked as the Assistant Track & Field Coach for Portland Public Schools at Cleveland High School (2012) and Jackson Middle School (2009).

McHattie graduated from Lewis & Clark in 2006, after a successful career as a dual athlete in cross country and track & field. McHattie was the Pioneers first Northwest Conference Champion in Cross Country, winning the 2005 title. On the track, McHattie was a NWC Conference Champion in the 800m and 1500m.
