Lewis & Clark College

Alex Saindon joined the Lewis & Clark men’s basketball staff as an assistant coach in the summer of 2026. Prior to Lewis & Clark, Saindon worked at Western Oregon University and Linfield University.

Before his time in Monmouth, Saindon spent two seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Western New Mexico University. While on staff, he helped develop multiple All-Lone Star Conference selections and contributed to the program’s first 10-win season since 2012.

Saindon began his coaching career as a student manager for the men’s basketball team at University of California, Santa Barbara from 2017-20. During his time at UCSB, he assisted with team operations while pursuing his academic studies.

A native of El Cerrito, California, Saindon graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in sociology.
