Joseph Naylor ('26) returns to his alma mater as an assistant cross country and track & field coach in the Fall of 2026.
Naylor competed for four years on the Lewis & Clark cross country and track & field teams. He was named to the Northwest Conference Scholar-Athlete Team all four years and earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team as a senior.
He competed at the Northwest Conference Cross Country Championship Meet as a junior and senior and finished a career-best 68th overall as a senior. Naylor closed out his track & field career ranked sixth in program history in the Outdoor 3,000M, 21st in the Indoor 3,000M, 23rd in the Indoor Mile and 43rd in the Outdoor Steeplechase. He competed at the NWC Championship Meet in the 3,000M Steeplechase all four years and posted a career-best 18th-place finish as a senior.
Naylor graduated in 2026 with a degree in Mathematics.
