Azusa, Calif.—Azusa Pacific University scored three goals in the first 25 minutes to take control, and the hosts ultimately earned a 5-0 win over Lewis & Clark College men's soccer on Monday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Leke Ademola posted a hat trick to lead the Cougars. The graduate student forward notched the team's first, third and fourth goals to help Azusa Pacific earn the win.

Keahi Meredith made his season debut on Monday. He made five stops on nine shots in the first half. Fellow senior
Micaiah Garan came on for the final 45 minutes and notched one save on two shots.

Sam London posted the River Otters' lone shot in the contest.
Lookman opened the scoring in the 6
th minute off of a feed from Mario Shuteriqi. The hosts added a second goal at 15:42 when Shuteriqi set up Joshua Lugo.
Ademola added two more goals before halftime. He made it 3-0 with an unassisted tally at 23:45 and found the back of the net off an Easton Jara feed at 42:30.
Edgar Auscencio capped off the scoring at 84:26 to make it 5-0.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Meredith's five saves on Monday marked a new career-high and doubled his career total. He made five saves during his first season.
- Monday's contest was the first meeting between the two programs since Lewis & Clark returned to varsity status in 2022. Azusa Pacific is in their first year at the NCAA DIII level – after moving from NCAA DII at the conclusion of the 2025-26 school year.
- Senior Eddie Ludington, sophomore Kieran Murray and Meredith all made their season debuts against Azusa Pacific.
- The hosts held a 28-1 edge in shots and a 12-0 lead in shots on target. Azusa Pacific owned a 5-1 advantage in corner kicks.
- London led the team with 75 minutes played on Monday.
