PORTLAND, Ore.āFresh off their best season in program history, Lewis & Clark College softball added 10 first-year players for the 2026 season. This year's class is made up of four players from Hawaii, three from California and three from the Pacific Northwest.Ā

"This large freshman class brings a lot of tools and much needed versatility to our program," head coach
Shawna Cyrus said. "We've added some sneaky pop with our bats and great defense all over the field. It will be exciting to see these freshmen take advantage of some early opportunities and contribute to the team's success. We're also excited to see this group grow over the years and thankful they get to learn from an outstanding senior class."
