HOW IT HAPPENED

Chapman secured the doubles point with three straight victories. They clinched the point when sophomore Arnav Bishnoi and senior Wade McDermott fell 6-3 to Matt Dewey and Ian Jordan.

The No. 1 match proved the most competitive, as junior Noah Sutin and senior Kai Wills dropped a 7-5 decision to Aram Izmirian and Ben Jorgenson.

The Panthers won all six singles matches, with the top three finishing with identical 6-1, 6-1 scores. Wills fell to Krantz at No. 2 to begin singles play, followed by Sutin's loss to Izmirian at No. 1 and Bishnoi's defeat against Dewey at No. 3.

At No. 4, McDermott battled to a 6-4 first set against Dickinson before dropping the second 6-1. Jorgenson defeated Cronin 6-2, 6-1 at No. 5, and Adrian D'Aoust earned a 6-4, 6-0 win over Loucks at No. 6.
