Dashiell Weaver was named the Northwest Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.Ā

Weaver put together another outstanding outing in the River Otters' Northwest Conference opening win over the University of Puget Sound. The junior quarterback completed 16 of 19 passes for 388 yards and four touchdowns to help lead Lewis & Clark to a single-game program record for points in a game (74-14). Weaver tacked on two rushes for 12 yards and a rushing touchdown. For the second-straight game, Weaver racked up five or more touchdowns despite not playing the majority of the second half.Ā

His 388 passing yards marked a new career-high and are the 17
th-most passing yards in a single-game in program history.Ā

Weaver leads the Northwest Conference this season with a 77.9 completion percentage (60-77), 1,186 passing yards and 12 passing touchdowns. He sits tied for second in the NWC with his 60 completed passes and leads the conference with four rushing scores.Ā

The junior quarterback leads all of NCAA DIII with his 256.1 passing efficiency rating. He sits second in the country in passing yards per completion (19.77) and completion percentage, ninth in passing yards per game (296.5), tied for 16
thĀ in passing touchdowns and 17
thĀ in passing yards. As a team, Lewis & Clark ranks third in NCAA DIII in team passing efficiency (221.07), fifth in passing offense (346.3 yards per game) and 10
thĀ in scoring offense (46.3 points per game).Ā
