Senior Micah Rysavy broke the 34-year-old school record in the 200 IM with a time of 1:56.35 on the first day of the Winter Collegiate Swim Invite. His time in 200 IM is the fastest in the Northwest Conference this season. Over the three-day competition, Rysavy posted PRs in seven individual events. In addition to the new program record, he swam the second-fastest time in program history in the 100 Fly (50.33). He secured top-10 program times in the 100 Free (46.67, sixth all-time), 200 Free (1:45.64, ninth all-time), and 100 Backstroke (53.27, fifth all-time) while also winning the B Final in the 200 Fly with a season-best time of 1:55.57. He posted PRs in the 50 Back (33.78) and 50 Fly (23.18). Rysavy contributed to four relay teams that posted top-10 program times, including the program record in the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:25.26. He was part of relays that set the fourth fastest time in the 400 Free Relay (1:37.20), sixth fastest in the 800 Free Relay (7:05.94) and seventh fastest in the 400 Medley Relay (3:36.07). Rysavy's outstanding weekend culminated in 44 points for the Pioneers, second on the men’s team.
