Denton led women’s golf to a sixth-place finish at the 2024 Northwest Conference Fall Classic on Sunday and Monday. The first year finished eighth out of 40 golfers with a career-low score of 156. She posted a career-best round of 77 (+5) on Sunday and added a 79 (+7) on Monday. Denton is the first women’s golfer to finish in the top-10 of an NWC event since Kamryn Ford (’22) at the 2022 NWC Championship Tournament. Denton ended the NWC Fall Classic tied for first in the field with a 2.80 average (-2) on Par 3s and carded three total birdies across her two rounds. Her tournament score of 156 was a collegiate-best by 10 strokes.
