Freshman Zoey Hamel-Hyland recorded a program-record 18 saves on Sunday in women’s lacrosse second-ever home game in Griswold Stadium. The keeper faced 51 shots from the Illinois Wesleyan University offense and registered a career-best save percentage of .450. Hamel-Hyland had seven saves in the first quarter alone and tied her previous career best of 10 saves by halftime.
