Kate Meinhard recorded her 100th career point as Lewis & Clark College women's lacrosse set a single-game program record for goals in a 25-5 win over the University of Puget Sound on Sunday at Baker Stadium.

Aviana Gonzales finished with 10 points on seven goals and three assists, while first-year
Ala Cross added seven goals and one assist for eight points. Junior
Sage Swegle recorded five goals and one assist for six points.
Meinhard totaled three goals and one assist for four points. Her first goal, at 9:36 of the first quarter on a Gonzales assist, gave her 100 career points. Sophomore
Mack Searle added one goal, one assist and a team-high eight draw controls. Sophomore
Rowan Levandoski scored two goals.

Kaitlin McRae started in goal and earned the win, allowing two goals with four saves in the first half. First-year
Phoebe Labuhn played the second half and allowed three goals with one save.
Cross opened the scoring at 13:11 of the first quarter. Puget Sound's Cat Schilli responded with two goals over the next two and a half minutes, assisted by Willa Twomey and Hailey Woodard, to give the Loggers a 2-1 lead. Meinhard tied the score at 9:36 on a Gonzales assist. Gonzales scored at 7:05, and Swegle added a free-position goal at 5:19 to give Lewis & Clark a 4-2 lead after one quarter.
The River Otters scored seven unanswered goals in the second quarter. Cross opened the period at 11:39, and Meinhard converted a free-position attempt at 8:43. Swegle scored at 4:50, and Gonzales added a goal at 4:10 on a Swegle assist. Cross scored at 3:48, then added two more goals in the final 43 seconds, one while short-handed and one on a free-position attempt, to give Lewis & Clark an 11-2 lead at halftime.
Lewis & Clark scored nine goals in the third quarter while allowing one. Meinhard, Levandoski and Gonzales scored in the first three minutes to extend the lead to 14-2. Cross added two goals, including one while short-handed. Swegle and Gonzales each scored twice more. Woodard scored on a free-position attempt at 3:20 for Puget Sound's only goal of the period. Lewis & Clark led 20-3 entering the fourth quarter.
Searle scored a man-up goal at 14:00 of the fourth quarter on a Meinhard assist. Gonzales scored twice, Levandoski added her second goal, and Swegle scored on a Gonzales assist. Maggie Ott converted a free-position attempt, and Schilli added a late goal for Puget Sound.
BY THE NUMBERS
- The 25 goals set a Lewis & Clark single-game program record. The previous mark of 22 was reached twice against Pacific Lutheran.
- Meinhard reached 100 career points with her first-quarter goal and now has 103.
- Cross has 77 points this season and is approaching the single-season record of 82, set by Gonzales last season.
- Lewis & Clark held a 22-9 advantage in draw controls and outshot Puget Sound 29-11.
- The River Otters outscored the Loggers 40-7 in the two meetings this season.
